Add images, set the maximum file size per image, then start processing. Compare the original and result before saving to your chosen folder. 1 KB = 1,000 bytes.

Process 3 of your own images for free on each device. Samples do not count. Failed attempts or cancellations before completion do not count, and changing settings for the same original does not use another free image. A one-time App Store purchase removes this limit, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Completed images can still be exported. Restore the purchase on Mac, iPhone and iPad with the same Apple Account. Buying and restoring require internet access.

Output is JPG with a white background for transparent areas, converted to sRGB. Images may become softer or smaller to meet the limit. Originals are kept, and Mac exports automatically get a new name if one exists. On iPhone and iPad, the system export picker handles destination conflicts. ByteFit checks file size and the optional longest edge; check any other requirements of the site you are uploading to.

No registration, image uploads, ads, tracking or analytics. Your free allowance and content digests of images processed for free stay on this device. Apple handles payments; the app reads verified purchase entitlements and never receives payment card details. Exports go to the folder you choose. Results are temporary files or memory data and may not survive quitting; export them promptly. On iPhone and iPad, imported image copies stay within the app and are removed when you clear the list. The system may also remove temporary files. Sample images are generated locally.

Output does not copy the original EXIF, GPS or IPTC metadata. This does not detect or hide names, ID numbers or other information visible in the picture itself.

The longest edge defaults to 2400 pixels. Choose 800, 1600, 2400 or 4000 pixels. Keep the app in the foreground while processing; unfinished work stops when you switch to the background. Save JPGs using the system file picker, to a folder on the device or your own cloud storage.

Supports JPG, PNG, HEIC and static WebP, up to 100 images per batch. Each input must be no larger than 100 MB, 60 megapixels and 12,000 pixels on either edge. Animated and multi-frame images are not supported. If an image cannot fit at its current resolution, increase the size limit or allow resizing.
